1.- En su discurso de apertura el Presidente del Grupo Saudita de Apoyo sobre la Cuestión de las Islas Malvinas, Dr. Haitham Bouzo, subrayó la importancia de dar pie no cumplimiento a las Resoluciones de las Naciones Unidas en particular en lo relativo a la reasunción de negociaciones bilaterales entre la Argentina y el Reino Unido acerca de la disputa de soberanía. El Dr. Bouzo expresó que el Grupo Saudita de Apoyo entiende que la búsqueda de la paz y la solución de los conflictos internacionales constituyen una preocupación de todos los países y sus ciudadanos, por lo que exhorto al Reino Unido que acepte el pedido de la comunidad internacional para volver a la mesa de negociaciones.
2.- Seguidamente, el Embajador Jaime Sergio Cerda efectuó una actualización de la
información sobre Malvinas desde la anterior Sesión Académica realizada en Jeddah en junio de 2014, tanto en lo referido al Comité Especial de Descolonización, así como las medidas legales establecidas por la Argentina contra las empresas que explotan hidrocarburos ilegítimamente. informó además acerca de la realización en Riad, el próximo 5 de noviembre de 2015, de la IV Cumbre de ASPA, señalando que en las tres Cumbre anteriores se incluyó en la Declaración Final un párrafo relativo a la Cuestión de las Islas Malvinas.
3.- Posteriormente se provecto la película titulada "La causa americana" de Pablo Santangelo, Occidente Producciones-Canal Encuentro (2012), dejando constancia del agradecimiento a los productores de la película.
4.- Durante el debate, otros miembros del Grupo de Apoyo Saudita se manifestaron en contra de la explotación de los recursos naturales en las Islas Malvinas. Varios de los asistentes expresaron su preocupación por las licencias de pesca emitidas ilegítimamente por el Reino Unido sin controles adecuados sobre las empresas y sin tomar en cuenta aspectos del media ambiente. Miembros del Cuerpo Diplomático presentes agradecieron la actualización de la información y señalaron la utilidad de debatir los aspectos históricos y jurídicos de la Cuestión de las Islas Malvinas.
5.- AI concluir, el Presidente del Grupo de Apoyo Saudita Dr. Bouzo manifestó que deseaba que el accionar de los Grupos de Apoyo en diversos países puedan convencer al Reino Unido que un vestigio colonial en el Siglo XXI ya no es aceptable, por lo que esperaba un cambio de conducta y la vuelta a las negociaciones bilaterales con la Argentina.
6.- Cabe mencionar que además del Dr. Bouzo, también asistieron a la Sesión Académica los siguientes Miembros del Grupo de Apoyo Saudita: Sra. Suzanne Pharaon, Sr. Marwan Pharaon y el Dr. Abdullah AI Faiz.
7.- Entre el publico presente se menciona la asistencia de un miembro de la Shura Council (Parlamento Saudita), empresarios, profesores universitarios, miembros del KA CARE (Ciudad del Rey Abdullah para la Energía Nuclear y Renovable), periodistas, funcionarios de la Cancillería local, y miembros del Cuerpo Diplomático.

Academic Session on the rights of Argentina over the Malvinas Islands. Argentina Residence , Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 4, 2015.
1. In his opening speech the President of Saudi Arabian Support Group of the Question of the Malvinas Islands, Dr. Haitham Bouzo, stressed the importance of carry out the Resolutions of the United Nations in particular with regard to the resumption of bilateral negotiations between Argentina and the United Kingdom about the sovereignty dispute. Dr. Bouzo expressed that the Saudi Support Group understands that the finding of the peace and solutions of the international conflicts are a concern for all countries and their citizens, so he urges the United Kingdom to accept the request of the international community to return to the negotiating table.
2. Next, Ambassador Jaime Sergio Cerda made an update about the information of the Malvinas Islands from the previous Academic Session held in Jeddah during June 2014, including the Special Committee on Decolonization, and the law measures established by Argentina against companies which illegitimately are exploiting hydrocarbons. He informed also about the celebration in Riyadh on November 5, 2015 of the Fourth Summit of ASPA, noting that a paragraph on the Question of the Malvinas Islands was included in the three previous Summits - Final Declaration.
3. Subsequently, the film entitled "The American cause" of Pablo Santangelo, Occidente Producciones -Canal Encuentro (2012) was projected, followed by thanks to the producers of the mentioned movie.
4. During the debate, other members of the Saudi Arabian Support Group spoke against exploitation of natural resources in the Malvinas Islands. Several attendees expressed concern about the fishing licenses issued illegally by the United Kingdom without adequate controls over companies and without taking into account aspects of media environment. Members of the Diplomatic Corps presented their thanks the updating of the information and underlined the usefulness of discussing the historical and legal aspects of the Question of the Malvinas Islands.
5. As a conclusion, the President of the Saudi Arabian Support Group Dr. Bouzo stated that he wished the actions of Support Groups in different countries can persuade the United Kingdom that a colonial vestige in the twenty-first century is no longer acceptable, so it is expected a behavior change and to return to bilateral negotiations with Argentina.
6. It is worth mentioning that besides Dr. Bouzo, also attended the Academic Session the following members of the Saudi Support Group: Mrs. Suzanne Pharaon, Mr. Marwan Pharaon and Dr. Abdullah AI Faiz.
